I'm Clark Phillips, COO of Pioneer Healthcare Services, leader of a community-focused ministry in Los Angeles, competitive powerlifter, and father of two NFL athletes. These aren't separate chapters of my story—they're evidence of one coherent principle: discipline compounds across every domain.
For 25 years, I've led operations in healthcare, education, and therapy staffing. Before Pioneer, I held leadership roles at Elite Medical Staffing and Care Navigators On Demand. My work spans recruiting productivity, demand conversion, operational efficiency, scaling teams, financial discipline, and technology implementation in highly regulated environments.

Why This Work Matters
Staffing is not a commodity. It's about access—to education, to clinical care, to opportunity. The organizations that thrive in this space are the ones that combine operational discipline with genuine commitment to the communities they serve.
At Pioneer, we're building something different: a company where margin and mission reinforce each other. Where operational excellence serves a real purpose—getting the right clinicians and educators into schools and healthcare systems that need them.
I approach leadership the way I approach powerlifting: with long-term thinking, measurable progress, and relentless discipline. The same principles that drive a personal record also drive a scaling organization. Consistency compounds

Faith in Action
I lead a community-focused ministry in Los Angeles—one I relaunched after inheriting it from my grandfather. For nearly a decade, I've been tackling the contemporary challenges of a community in transition: homelessness, poverty, lack of access to healthcare and resources, and the systemic barriers that create generational hardship. This isn't separate from my work at Pioneer—it's rooted in the same conviction: that leadership is service, and that businesses and organizations have a responsibility to the communities they operate in.
You'll find me at community health fairs, mentoring young leaders, advocating for underrepresented neighborhoods, and showing up where the need is real—not shying away from hard problems. Purpose and profitability are not opposing forces. They're partners.

Discipline and Athleticism
Discipline Compounds

I'm a competitive powerlifter with a USA Powerlifting Masters 2A raw record: 160 kg bench press push-pull (established June 2026, California State Record). I compete at nationals, train year-round, and approach the sport with the same rigor I bring to operations.
Powerlifting teaches what executive leadership demands: patience with progress, respect for process, humility in failure, and the long view. A personal record takes years. So does building a great company.
This is why I founded Savage Servant—a movement rooted in the intersection of strength, executive excellence, and servant leadership. It's for people who refuse to compartmentalize their values.
Mentorship Compounds Too

I'm the father of two NFL players:
Bryce Phillips (Minnesota Vikings, safety) and
Clark Phillips III (Chicago Bears, cornerback).
That's not my accomplishment—it's theirs. But it's a reminder of why I do this work. Mentorship, long-term thinking, and values that hold through adversity—these compound too. As they navigate professional football, I'm navigating staffing and operations. The principles are the same.
